Dāna Tuition:

Understanding that Wildtender participants have a wide range of economic circumstances, we have created a “Dāna” tuition model for our scholarship program to allow you to choose a level of monetary contribution (including none) that feels appropriate for you and your financial situation. Dāna means “gift” or “generosity” in Sanskrit; it is an offering made from the heart out of respect to a teacher or community in Buddhist traditions. We thank you for supporting us with whatever contribution feels within your means as we strive to strengthen local and sustainable economies, honor the wisdom carried into these programs by our guides, execute programs with integrity and care, and carry out meaningful work in the world.

Steps to Register:

Please note: registration may be difficult on smart phone or tablet; the process is easier on a laptop or desktop computer.

1. Please carefully review our Waiver, Terms & Conditions and Backpacking Eligibility Criteria. It is essential that you fully understand our payment and cancellation policies, agreements and expectations before making your commitment.

2. Select the “dāna” you are contributing from the dropdown menu.

3. Click the “ADD TO CART” button, then click on shopping cart in the top right corner of this page to check out, complete forms and pay.

4. Wildtender will be in touch to confirm receipt of your payment and your place in this program, or to follow up with any questions.
