In the Summer of 2026, pilgrims enacted Wildtender’s second Mountains and Waters Pilgrimage following the course of the Tuolumne River through the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne on Miwok Land in present-day Yosemite National Park. The River serves as primary teacher, companion, and primordial ancestor on this journey.
Program participant Mark Gorenstein made the following recordings of the River’s mighty voice. May these recordings carry you into the flow of the wild, and may all beings receive the benefit of the Dharma endlessly expounded by this truly ancient being.
